Bird's Eye View...
Thanks to Microsoft's Live Service, you can type in an address and get a satellite image view of the location. You can actually zoom in pretty close. It isn't perfect (it had the library's address smack dab in the middle of US 311 about a mile north--so I moved it--the pointer, not the library), but it is a great way to look at landmarks and get directions.
As you can see from the image, it is not a current image. Looking at the state of the front yard, it appears that there is construction work being done. That would place this image around 2002.
Google Earth offers a similar service, but it does require a download. Windows Live is a web application. Google Maps has satellite imagery, but you can't zoom in as close as Windows Live.
Have fun!
Thanks for reading,
George
