  • Thursday, July 9: Teddy Bear Contest & Visit with the Fire Department
  • Wednesday, July 15: Create and Aquarium with Aquamaine of Greensboro
  • Wednesday, July 22: Magical Storyteller Mark Daniel. Mark Daniel’s programs have entertained and inspired over three million children in thousands of schools and libraries over 20 years, celebrating the joy of reading and great books.
  • Thursday, July 23: Movie “Bee Movie, 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 29: Finale, with Garrett Traylor of High Point Piano

Summer Reading Kick-Off!

Join us from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 11 for our Summer Reading Program Kick-Off event!

This year's theme is Be Creative!

We will have games, door prizes and live music!

Local musician Andy Hunt will be entertaining everyone with his banjo playing!

Registration for the Summer Reading Program starts on Monday, June 8.

Digeridoo This Wednesday!

Join us this Wednesday, June 18 @ 10:30 am for Didgeridoo Down Under.

Digeridoo Down Under is an Australian-themed, family-friendly show that combines music, art, storytelling, dancing, puppetry, comedy, environmental education and audience participation with messages about reading, and respect for all cultures and creatures. More at www.didgrevolution.com.

The event is free and open to the public.

As a reminder to parents, all children ages 6 and younger must be accompanied by a parent / legal guardian for their entire stay at the library.
