Great Reads...One of my all time favorite reads is the Doomsday Book by Connie Willis. We just received her latest--a novella--about seances, skeptics...and love.
Inside Job leads us through a professional skeptic's perspective as he tries to debunk the latest channeler to hit Los Angeles and ultimately discovers some true channeling. At just under 100 pages, Inside Job is a quick and satisfying read. There is not as much suspense as the Doomsday Book, but I found myself waiting for my next lunch break to continue the story.
Connie Willis has been awarded 8 Hugo Awards, 9 Locus Poll Awards and 6 Nebula Awards.
