A recent article in the USA Todaydescribed "go bags" created by a San Francisco couple. The couple was concerned of the recent natural disasters and whether they'd be properly prepared. They went shopping for canned goods, blankets, first aid kits. USA Today devoted 3/4 of a page with important lists of necessary items every family should have ready, just in case...I wish I had found "reading materials" listed!
Without electricity, tv, computers, etc. aren't available to entertain. I was reminded that many Wilma-affected areas of Florida are still without electricity--I'm hoping parents have some great family-reading materials stashed away!
